Rock match vs. Rider canceled

Due to inclement weather in the Lakeland, Florida area, Sunday’s match between the Slippery Rock women’s tennis team and Rider was canceled. The Rock took the doubles point against their Division I opponent before the match was forced to be stopped because of lightning and rain.

LAKELAND, Fla. - Due to inclement weather in the area, Sunday's match between the Slippery Rock University women's tennis team and Rider University was canceled.

The Rock took the doubles point against their Division I opponent before the match was forced to be stopped because of lightning and rain.

Slippery Rock now turns its attention to its 11:30 a.m. March 17 match against Texas A&M University – Kingsville at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
