SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University's home football game against Shepherd this Saturday night, Sept. 13, has been selected as The Rock's annual "White Out" game. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
 
The White Out has become an annual tradition at Slippery Rock with upwards of 2,000 official shirts being sold each fall for the game. All SRU fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.
 
The SGA Bookstore and Coffaro's Pizza will sponsor the event. Official White Out t-shirts will be on sale beginning Wednesday at the SGA Bookstore for just $7 for sizes S-2XL and $9 for 3XL. Shirts will also be sold on Main Street at the SGA Bookstore tent Saturday during VillageFest. A limited supply of remaining shirts will also be available for sale at the game.
 
The SGA Bookstore is located in the Robert Smith Student Center and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during regular hours.
 
Saturday night's game will serve as the nightcap to the annual Slippery Rock VIllageFest that is scheduled to take place downtown throughout the day. For more details about VillageFest, click HERE.
