SINGLES DRAWS
Picking up where they left off a season ago,

Alissia Kivi were both dominant in their singles matches out of the Marron draw.
Â
Balaguer Brau, who closed 2024-25 as the No. 60 singles athlete in Division II, beat Chestnut Hill's Elena Arenas (6-0, 6-2) and Morgan State's Lauren Hall (6-2, 6-4). Equally as impressive was Kivi, who downed Lia Sophie Seele of Bloomsburg (6-3, 6-1) and Chestnut Hill's Milica Zagorac (6-0, 6-0).
Â
The final match of the Marron bracket between the two Rock standouts was not contested.
All three of Slippery Rock's singles competitors in the Gold draw earned wins. Slovak defeated Bloomsburg's Jennifer McDonald (6-1, 6-1) in the first round before losing in the semifinals to Damla Arsland (MSU).
Â
While

Â
Rodewald, a transfer from Grand Valley State University, bested Bloomsburg's Macarena Arisio (6-1, 6-0) in the first round and Chestnut Hill's Lily Bendel (6-4, 6-3) in the semifinals before falling to Morgan State's Roua Limem in a tight 3-6, 7-5, 10-2 title match.

Marika Kempinski went 1-1 out of the Blue bracket. Following a loss Tyler Williams of Morgan State (6-0, 6-0), Kempinski rebounded to defeat Bloomsburg's Maddie Delisio (7-6, 6-0).
DOUBLES
Slippery Rock sent its top two doubles pairings from a year ago into the Maroon doubles bracket.
Â
Kivi and Kempton, which finished last season as the 38th-ranked team in the nation, made it to the finals of the draw. Following a bye in the first round, Kempton and Kivi beat Julia Jeffrey / Tyler Williams of Morgan State (6-4) before falling in the finals to MSU's Damla Arslan / Lauryn Hall (6-0).
Â
After losing in the first round, Balaguer Brau and Slovak bounced back to win two consolation matches en route to a fifth-place finish.
The Rock placed two pairings into the Golde doubles draw in Sakhanova / Rodewald and Poranski /Kempinski.
Â
