LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock closed out the 2024 season with a second place finish the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular season. The Rock also secured a PSAC Tournament semifinal berth after a 1-0 quarterfinal victory over Seton Hill University, before eventually falling to Bloomsburg University in penalty kicks.
The nine wins was a three-win jump from 2023 and the most in a single season since 2015 when SRU won the PSAC Tournament 2-1 over No. 21 Millersville University.
KEY RETURNERS
Slippery Rock has big shoes to fill to replace the bulk of its scoring from a year ago. The Rock lost 26 of 32 goals from last season returning just 28.8 percent of its scoring.
Arturo Pla Hernandis led SRU in goals in 2024 with seven.
Aitor Jorde (5),
Aaron Finney (4),
Rasmus Fugl (4),
Luke Gildea (2) and
Will Harrigan (1) are other goal contributors who are not on the 2025 roster due to graduation or the transfer portal.
The Rock will look towards
Colton Swanson and
Aashi Pandher to carry the bulk of the load in 2025.
Colton Swanson, a graduate student from Bradford, Pennsylvania, poured in two goals and two assists in just four games in 2024 before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
Aashi Pandher, a junior from Brampton, Ontario, contributed one goal and one assist in 17 games. Pandher started the last nine games of the year, and 11 in total.
The Rock will have a new keeper in goal in 2025 with the graduation of
Adam Davies.
2025 TRANSFERS
SRU made three additions to its roster through the transfer portal in the offseason.
On the back end, defender
Patrick Tierney transferred in from West Virginia Wesleyan where he played in 24 games and made 12 starts in two seasons. Tierney provided one assist while being a steady presence on the back line for the Bobcats.
The Rock brought in two midfielders,
Dylan Greggs and
Plamedi Warsinsky from the transfer portal.
Greggs came to Slippery Rock from Mercyhurst University after playing in 11 games in three seasons for the Lakers.
Warsinsky transferred to The Rock after spending his freshman season at Coker University.

D'YOUVILLE SCOUTING REPORT
The Saints look to continue their momentum from a season ago. DYU finished 5-8-4, a five-win improvement from 2023 when they went winless in 13 games. The East Coast Conference coaches recognized the improvement and voted D'Youville to finish fifth place out of nine teams in the ECC and received one first place vote in the preseason poll.
For the second year in a row, Ethan Robinson led D'Youville in scoring with five goals in 2024. Robinson put two in the back of the net in 2023. Shawn Richardson matched Robinson with five goals of his own a season ago.
Goalkeeper Matthew Solorio played all 17 games last year for the Saints giving up 1.53 goals per game while accumulating a .714 save %. The sophomore returns this year to man the goal for D'Youville.
