LAST TIME OUT
A second half game-winning goal from David Serra doomed The Rock as the University of the District of Columbia prevailed 3-2.
After falling behind 1-0, Slippery Rock took a 2-1 lead off goals from
Zsombor Retfalvi and
Kaden Reynolds, with
Cornelis Dedecker earning assists on both goals.
Joao De Souza De Aquino tied the game 2-2 heading into halftime.
Slippery Rock held an 8-4 shot advantage and 3-2 edge in shots on goal. Also, The Rock took three corner kicks compared to the Firebirds one corner.
Around halfway through the second half, Serra found the back of the net for the second time in the game, and four time on the year, sealing a 3-2 win for UDC.

Retfalvi and Reynolds are tied for fifth in goals with two apiece. Dedecker currently sits atop the PSAC in assists with four helpers. Also, Dedecker is tied for first in points with six and tied for fourth in shots with nine. Nine is tied for fourth in shutouts with one and tied for ninth in goals against per game with 1.5.
DII LEADERS
Not only is Dedecker highly ranked in the PSAC, the freshman from Nykoping, Sweden is fifth in all of Division II in assists (4) and third in assists per game (1.33).

Slippery Rock University men's soccer forward
Cornelis Dedecker was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career, the conference office announced on Monday.
Dedecker earned Slippery Rock its first PSAC weekly award this year. Dedecker is the 22
nd different men's soccer player to win a PSAC weekly award since 2004.

ROBERTS WESLEYAN SCOUTING REPORT
Roberts Wesleyan will be finishing up a three-game homestand against Slippery Rock, the last game before East Coast Conference play starts for the Redhawks.
RWU has gone undefeated in its first four games, compiling a 3-0-1 record with wins over Malone University, Walsh University and Assumption University, along with a tie at Saint Anselm College. The Redhawks have amassed a +4 goal differential in the early parts of their campaign.
Archie Murphy, the reigning ECC Offensive Player of the Week, leads the Redhawks with seven points and three goals, Murphy is also tied for the RWU lead in assists.
Sebastian Guerrero is currently sitting with two goals on the year, the only other Redhawk with multiple goals so far. Muzaffer Aydar and Dylan Baker round out the RWU goal scorers with one apiece.
Five players on Roberts Wesleyan are tied for the team lead with one assist, including Murphy and Guerrero.
Senior Eric Jewson has occupied the goal for all four matches for Roberts Wesleyan. Jewson has accumulated 23 saves, while allowing just three goals.
