SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The 14th annual Slippery Rock University Men's Basketball Golf Classic, presented by the Alliance for Nonprofit Resources and Domino's Pizza of Slippery Rock, has been scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8 at the Lake Arthur Golf Club in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Registration is $150 per golfer or $560 for a foursome and includes 18 holes with cart, entry into contest holes, Rock basketball gear (t-shirt, hat and golf towel), lunch, dinner and refreshments on the course.
The event will also feature several different raffles, gift baskets, and prizes. The top three teams will receive prizes including four flat screen televisions to the winning foursome courtesy of Ginger Hill Tavern. Skill prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and putting contests will also be awarded.
Registration for the outing begins at 9 a.m. and the four-person scramble will have a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Sponsorship packages are also available for as little as $100 (single hole sponsorship) up to the Platinum Title Sponsor Package for $4,000.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the SRU men's basketball program.
