SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University softball team has announced that due to inclement weather, doubleheaders against California (Pa.) and Edinboro have been postponed to next week, while the series against Lock Haven University has been canceled.

SRU's previously scheduled road doubleheader 2:30 p.m. Friday at California has been postponed to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10.

The Rock's home twin bill against Edinboro slated for 1 p.m. Saturday has been bumped to 2 p.m. Monday, April 7. As a result, the non-conference doubleheader versus Lock Haven has been canceled.

While Saturday's games have been moved, the team's
Jan Kasnevich Day ceremonies and field dedication will still go on as planned. Light refreshments will be served in the concession stand and dugout areas beginning at 11:30 a.m., and Jan Kasnevich will help cut the ribbon to officially open the new facility around 12:30 p.m. More information on alumnae interested in attending the event can be found in this week's preview
