SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team welcomes Daemen University for a non-conference tilt 3 p.m. Wednesday at James Egli Field.
Slippery Rock enters the match with a 4-5-1 record and a 2-2-0 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division mark, while Daemen owns a 1-11-0 record overall with a 0-4-0 record in East Coast Conference play.

Behind a brace from
Gabin Lonjard, Slippery Rock cruised past California (Pa.), 3-0, in PSAC West competition Oct.11 at James Egli Field.
Lonjard put home two first half goals, followed by
Kaden Reynolds adding an insurance goal in the second half. Pandher,
Zsombor Retfalvi, and
Massimo Cuda all grabbed one assist in the win.
Lonjard and Cuda led The Rock with four shots apiece, while Reynolds (2), Pandher (2),

LEADING THE ROCK
Reynolds has paced The Rock offense with nine points and four goals. Retfalvi and Dedecker trails the forward with seven and six points respectively.
Retfalvi, Lonjard and
Jimmy Irani trail Reynolds for the Slippery Rock goal lead with two each. Dedecker, Pandher and
Patrick Tierney all have one tally for The Rock.
Dedecker leads all SRU players with four assists, while Retfalvi trails Dedecker with three assists. Cuda and Pandher has registered two assists apiece. Irani and Swanson have both collected one assist.

Alvey Kaufman has seen the majority of the time in goal and owns a 2-4-1 record with 21 saves on a .618 save percentage, while allowing 13 goals for a 1.86 goals against average.
Nine is 2-1-0 with six saves on a .667 save percentage, while allowing three goals for a 1.0 GAA.

TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE
With Lonjard's two tally's against California, the defender is the first Rock players to score twice in one game in the last 15 SRU matches, when
Arturo Pla Hernandis achieved that Oct. 30, 2024 against Lock Haven University in a 3-2 Rock victory.
Aitor Jorde and
Aaron Finney notched two goals in a game in 2024 as well.

DAEMEN SCOUTING REPORT
The Wildcats have had a tough start to their 2025 campaign so far with a 1-11-0 record. Daemen defeated Malone University, 3-1, to improve to 1-1 and have lost all ten games since. Daemen has been outscored 40-5 on its 10-game losing streak.
Senior forward Larry Noel leads the Wildcats in points (4) and goals (2). Stevie Varallo is tied with Noel for the Wildcat point lead with four. Noel is the only Daemen player with multiple goals, but seven other Wildcats have one tally each.
Varallo and Jonathan Lopez-Leblanc lead Daemen in assists with two each, while three other Daemen players have registered one assist.
Noel (15) and Axe Lozoya (10) lead Daemen in shots as the only Wildcats that have double-digit shots this season.
Freshman goalkeeper Dylan Delaney has started 10 of Daemen's 12 games in 2025. Delaney owns a 1-9-0 record with a 3.58 GAA and a .627 save percentage.
