SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Slippery Rock University baseball team is inviting all former members of the program back to campus on Oct. 12 for Alumni Day at Jack Critchfield Park, head coach Jeff Messer announced Tuesday.

The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a team practice and intersquad scrimmage open to the public. After the scrimmage, a tailgate lunch for alumni, family and friends of the program will be provided.

In addition to the lunch, alumni are invited to take the field themselves from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. for batting practice, ground balls, fly balls and more activities prior to the Slippery Rock – Gannon football game.  

Alumni planning to attend are asked to RSVP with the number in your party and t-shirt size. To RSVP, contact coach Messer by e-mail (jeffrey.messer@sru.edu).
