SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Slippery Rock University men's basketball team will play its final game of the regular season against a team from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division when it hosts Lock Haven University for a crossover game 7:30 p.m. Monday at Morrow Field House.

"WHITE OUT" SET FOR JAN. 25 VS. IUP
The annual Slippery Rock basketball "White Out" game has been scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 25 when Indiana University (Pa.) is set to visit Morrow Field House.

Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game and the SGA Bookstore is selling official "White Out" t-shirts for just $5 in sizes small through XL and $7 for 2XL and 3XL. The t-shirts are currently available in the bookstore at the Robert Smith Student Center on campus and a limited supply will be available at the games. Fans can also order a shirt online

The Rock expect to have a lively atmosphere for the doubleheader with a pep band and a DJ scheduled, multiple contests and prizes to give away and performances from campus dance groups during halftime of each game.

Slippery Rock suffered a close 72-68 loss on the road at Pitt-Johnstown while Lock Haven lost to Millersville, 73-67, in what was its second consecutive loss at home.

Slippery Rock has lost just once to Lock Haven since 2006, a span of 20 games, and holds an all-time record against the Bald Eagles of 77-38. Included in the 77 wins is a stellar 44-16 mark against LHU at Morrow Field House.
LAST MEETING
Will Robinson Jr. scored five points in the final 53 seconds to lift The Rock to a 75-70 win over Lock Haven Nov. 24, 2019 at Morrow Field House. Robinson Jr. finished with a 24-point, 15-rebound double-double while Jared Armstrong scored 16 points and Jason Fowlkes came off the bench to make three 3-pointers in a 12-point performance.

13 STRAIGHT AT MORROW FIELD HOUSE
Slippery Rock enters the week having won its last 13 games at Morrow Field House. The winning streak started with three home victories at the end of last season and has continued into this year with SRU's first 10 home games of the year all being wins.

There has been just one home winning longer than The Rock's current run since Morrow Field House opened in 1959: SRU won 27 games over a three-year stretch between 1989 and 1991.

The Rock's current 13-game home winning streak is the third longest active streak in the PSAC behind only IUP (23) and Mercyhurst (14).

SRU vs. THE PSAC EAST
Dating back to the 2011-12 season when the PSAC began counting crossover games as division contests, Slippery Rock has compiled a record of 43-25 (.632) overall against Eastern Division teams. So far this season, Slippery Rock is 3-2 against the PSAC East with wins over Shepherd, Mansfield and Bloomsburg as well as losses at Shippensburg and East Stroudsburg.

Ian Grady and is 26-9 (.743) since 2011-12 when hosting PSAC East teams.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Slippery Rock features an offensive attack in which several different players have proven more than capable of leading an offense that is largely paced by Britt and
Khalid Gates who are tied for the team lead in scoring at 14.8 points per game each.

• Gates, who shoots 53.6 percent from the field and has been held to under 10 points in a game just twice this year, also provides The Rock with team-highs in rebounding (6.7) and blocks (1.0).

• Britt distributes 2.4 assists per game, has made a team-best 30 3-pointers and averages 1.6 steals a game. A great point guard, Britt has totaled 23 assists with just seven turnovers over the last six games.
• With six assists at Pitt-Johnstown, Britt moved past Kyle Camper (2008-09) and into fourth place at The Rock for assists in a career with 309.Â

Jonathan McFall is The Rock's third-leading scorer with 12.6 ppg. McFall came into the year a great shooter inside the arc and at the foul line, but has added another dimension to his game this year as he has connected on 41.3 percent (19-of-46) of it 3-point attempts in 2022-23 in addition to shooting 50 percent overall and 84.8 percent at the foul line.

Jomo Goings routinely gives The Rock a scoring spark off the bench. He has finished in double figures in four of the last six games while averaging 8.3 points per game on the year overall. Defensively, Goings gives SRU 1.1 steals a game.

Bobby Clifford is coming off a strong performance at Pitt-Johnstown in which he scored 10 points and pulled in five rebounds. Clifford, who averages 6.4 ppg and 4.0 rpg in 17 starts, has made five of his last eight 3-pointers.

Lashon Lindsey and
Ahmad Galimore are versatile athletes who help The Rock in all facets of the game. Lindsey not only averages 7.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, but also tallies 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and just under one block.

• Galimore meanwhile has come off the bench as of late with per game averages of 4.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He if 4-for-6 from the field in the last two games.

Alex Griggs has appeared in all 17 games as a freshman reserve point guard. He's played 10 or more minutes on 12 occasions while averaging 2.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals so far in his brief collegiate career.

TOUGH TO BEAT AT HOME
Few teams in the Atlantic Region dominate at home like Slippery Rock does at Morrow Field House. Since 2008-09, Slippery Rock is an outstanding 153-44 (.778) at home.

Slippery Rock has been nearly automatic with its free throws of late as SRU is 75-of-93 (.806) at the foul line over the previous six games.

BRITT CLOSING IN ON 1,000 POINTS
Britt begins the week with 926 points scored during his Slippery Rock career, 74 shy of becoming the 24th 1,000-point scorer in program history.

When Britt does score his 1,000th point he will become just the third Rock player to hit the career milestone in the last 12 years along with Micah Till (1,493 / 2017-20) and Devin Taylor (1,143 / 2010-13).

SCOUTING THE BALD EAGLES
Javy Davis paces a balanced Lock Haven attack that features five players who average at least 9.5 points per game.

In addition to scoring 15.5 ppg, Davis also gives LHU 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 assists a game. One of the most accurate 3-point threats in the PSAC, Davis enters Morrow Field House shooting 43 percent (37-of-86) from long range.

Eli Washington is Lock Haven's No. 2 scorer at 11.6 ppg while James Price grabs a team-best 6.4 rebounds per game while scoring 10.0 ppg. Justice Shoats (9.8) and Dymir Montague (9.5) round out the Bald Eagles' leading scorers with Montague also guiding the attack with 3.7 assists a game.

Lock Haven started the season by winning seven of its first eight games but have since gone 4-4. LHU ranks fifth in opponent scoring throughout the PSAC at 69.3 ppg while being slotted 10th in offensive production (73.8 ppg).

The Bald Eagles excel at forcing turnovers to the tune of 17.9 per game, the second-highest average in the conference. However, Lock Haven has been prone to miscues itself with 14.9 turnovers per game.
