SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University has announced multiple promotions for its final two home basketball doubleheaders Saturday, Feb. 19 and Wednesday, Feb. 23, including chances for free admission to both dates.
 
SATURDAY, FEB. 19 PROMOTIONS
• Women vs. Gannon – 1:30 p.m.
• Men vs. Gannon – 3:30 p.m.
 
    - BREAST CANCER AWARENESS GAMES
    Slippery Rock encourages fans to wear pink to the games. The Rock will run a special 50/50 and will be accepting donations with all proceeds going to local breast cancer organizations. Survivors of breast cancer and families impacted by the disease will be recognized before each game. The Rock basketball teams will also wear pink warm-ups for the game.
 
    - FREE ADMISSION FOR DONATIONS TO BOB'S CUPBOARD
    The Rock men's basketball team will be accepting donations for Bob's Cupboard at both the women's and men's games Saturday. Fans that bring any of the items listed below will receive free admission to the games. Bob's cupboard is a collaborative project between SRU's Student Government Association, the Macoskey Center and the Bonner Leader Program. It was created to provide food and other needed supplies to SRU students experiencing food insecurity.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 23 PROMOTIONS
• Women vs. Edinboro – 5:30 p.m.
• Men vs. Edinboro – 7:30 p.m.
 
    - SENIOR DAY
    Slippery Rock will recognize its senior players prior to each game before they play in their final career home games at The Rock. The ceremonies will take place right before tip of each game.
 
    - MAKE-A-WISH GAME
    Slippery Rock will run a special 50/50 raffle and will be accepting donations with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
 
    - FACULTY AND STAFF APPRECIATION DAY
    All Slippery Rock faculty and staff are invited to attend the games, where a special reception will take place in the collaboration room during the games. Refreshments will be provided. All faculty and staff will receive free admission to both games. Faculty and staff should check their email for more information and can register online HERE.
 
    - FREE ADMISSION FOR SENIOR CENTER FOOD DRIVE
    The Rock men's basketball team will be accepting donations for the Slippery Rock Senior Center at both the women's and men's games next Wednesday. Fans that bring any of the items listed below will receive free admission to the games.
