Slippery Rock started its offensive explosion 14 minutes into the first half when Edge found the back of the net on an assist by Patrick for what was her PSAC-best third goal of the season. Minda followed suit 12 minutes later with a perfectly placed ball from Swope to extend The Rock's lead to 2-0 going into halftime.

The high energy attack from the SRU offense only got stronger coming out of the break as Patrick collected her first collegiate goal less than two minutes into the second half off a crossed ball from Reagan Reeves.

Swope then showed her accuracy by netting back-to-back headers off of assists from Megan Sikora and Georgia Nagucki to stretch the Slippery Rock lead to a commanding 5-0 with four minutes left in regulation.

Soon after in the 89th minute Olivia Yoder put her name in the books by securing her first career goal followed 35 seconds when Rea closed the contest with a goal of her own off a pass from Edge en route to the seven-goal victory.
