GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 decision on the road at Seton Hill University Saturday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division action from Dick's Sporting Goods Field.

Seton Hill (3-0, 2-0 PSAC) never trailed in the game and used a 4-0 run late in the first half to open up an 8-3 advantage at the break. The Rock (1-3, 0-3 PSAC) cut the advantage to 10-5 early in the second half, but the Griffins closed the game on a 5-0 run to seal the win.

Slippery Rock was outshot for the first time this season as the hosts posted a 33-23 advantage in shots. Seton Hill also had a 21-12 advantage in ground balls, while SRU managed a 13-10 edge in draw controls.

Molly Buettner paced The Rock attack with one goal and one assist.

Francesca Lindelow all scored one goal and
Charleigh Rondeau and
Emily Benham each handed out one assist to cap the scorers.

Seton Hill was led by Kristi Kada with six goals and Jaclyn Frank with two goals and six assists. Kamille Ward earned the win between the posts with 13 saves.

Slippery Rock will look to snap its three-game skid when it travels to Edinboro Tuesday for a 4 p.m. game.
