Check out the next of our "Get to Know Them" profiles featuring The Rock athletics staff as we check in with Rock football offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Adam Neugebauer.

Each Monday of the fall semester, we’ll be bringing you three different “Getting to Know Them” profiles on coaches, athletic administrators and athletic trainers at Slippery Rock to introduce you to the folks behind the scenes here at The Rock. Next up, we check in with football offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Adam Neugebauer.

FAST FACTS
- Second season at SRU
- Coached Roland Rivers III to the Harlon Hill Trophy in 2019
- Had four All-Americans in his first season
- Was a Harlon Hill finalist as a QB at West Virginia Wesleyan (2012 grad)

QUICK BIO
Neugebauer joined the SRU staff after serving as quarterbacks coach at Georgetown University and wasted little time in transforming the offense into a powerhouse at the Division II level. He coached quarterback Roland Rivers III to the first Harlon Hill Trophy in SRU history and a first team All-America honor. The Rock’s offense ranked second in the nation in first downs, third in scoring, fifth in passing, eighth in red zone efficiency and ninth in total offense in 2019 on the way to the best season in school history with a 13-1 record and a trip to the NCAA semifinals. Neugebauer broke 15 school records as a QB at West Virginia Wesleyan and was the Super Region One Offensive Player of the Year in 2012.
