EDINBORO, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University volleyball team lost a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Northwest Division match in three sets to Edinboro University Saturday afternoon.

Edinboro (11-11, 5-6 PSAC West) took the opening set from The Rock (7-16, 2-9 PSAC), 25-12, followed by back-to-back 25-15, 25-17 victories on the way to the three-set sweep.

Kaley Fucci led The Rock's offensive efforts against the Fighting Scots with a match-high nine kills and one ace in addition to making eight digs.

The quartet of
Abigail Koeller,
Abigail Nigon,
Sophie Varndell and
Erinn Kahoe all registered four kills with Koeller chipping in one ace and Nigon tallying one block as well.

Logan Whitaker produced 12 assists, one kill and one block while
Zoe Rivet added nine assists and five digs.
Gabby Huck matched Fucci for the team-lead in digs with eight of her own.

Ciarah Jackson, who compiled nine kills, two aces and a pair of blocks in the win, led Edinboro. For the match, the Fighting Scots held advantages over SRU in kills (39-28), attack percentage (.349-.086), aces (7-2) and blocks (6-1).

Slippery Rock returns home to host Indiana University 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and Pitt-Johnstown 1 p.m. Nov. 2.
