NOTES
• Slippery Rock has won each of its last two matches in three sets. Prior to its current winning streak SRU had not won a three-set match in 2018.

Â
• Jacobsen's 10-kill outburst was her third highest total of the season and most since registering 19 kills against West Chester on Sept. 14.
Â
• With four aces against Indiana, Kahoe now ranks ninth in the PSAC this season in aces per set (0.38) and 10th in overall aces (23). She has also produced an impeccable .455 hitting percentage (19-4-33) over The Rock's winning streak.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1 – SRU never trailed in the first set as it opened up a quick 11-4 lead and never looked back on the way to its 25-16 victory. Stumpf tallied five kills in the opener and SRU recorded a team .333 hitting percentage.
Â
Set 2 – Indiana played Slippery Rock tight in the second set, but SRU went on a 11-3 run with the score tied at 11-11 to stretch its lead out to a commanding eight-point margin at 22-14 en route to the eventual 25-20 victory.
Â
Set 3 – A comeback wasn't in the cards for the Crimson Hawks thanks to an early 5-0 Rock run that bolstered SRU's lead to 11-6 in the third set. From there, Slippery Rock was content to trade points for the remainder of the match as The Rock cruised to the 25-20 match-clinching win.
