HOW IT HAPPENED
SET 1 – Slippery Rock and UPJ played even for much of the opening set, but a 7-2 Mountain Cat run over the middle portion of the set proved to be the difference in the first as UPJ secured a 25-20 win.

SET 2 – SRU took a 10-9 lead in the second set before Pitt-Johnstown rattled off a decisive 13-1 run that gave way to an eventual 25-17 Mountain Cat triumph.

SET 3 – As was the case for much of the match, Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown once again played even for the majority of the third set, but UPJ was able eek out the 25-19 win by scoring four of set's last six points to seal the overall win.
