WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Slippery Rock University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to West Chester University Friday night in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action from WCU's Hollinger Fieldhouse.
The Golden Rams swept The Rock with winning sets of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-10.
The loss drops Slippery Rock to 9-16 overall and 2-10 in the PSAC play, while West Chester improves to 18-7 overall and 6-6 in the conference.

Kaley Fucci and
Lamija Alisic had four kills apiece for The Rock.
Zoe Rivet had 15 assists and two service aces, while
Leah Jones registered 13 digs to round out SRU's top performers.
Karleigh Lutz and Allie Duffy paced the Golden Rams with 11 and 10 kills, respectfully.
The Golden Rams had two four-point runs early in the first to help get out to a 12-5 lead. SRU would get no closer than six points for the remainder of the set, as West Chester earned the 25-16 first-set win.
In the second set, The Rock kept things close until the Golden Rams scored five unanswered points midway through the set to take a 19-12 lead. The hosts went on to close out the set on a four-point run to win 25-15.
West Chester opened the third set in a big way as they scored the first eight points. Slippery Rock struggled to bounce back from the eight-point deficit, as West Chester earned the sweep on a 25-10 win.
