"Myron Brown holds a very special place in Rock men's basketball history," second-year SRU head coach
Kevin Reynolds said, "and we want to honor him for his role in taking The Rock to the top of the PSAC and regional charts."
Behind Brown's lead, The Rock earned berths in the 1990 and 1991 NCAA Division II Eastern Regional tournaments and played in four consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference postseason tournaments. SRU was the conference runner-up in Brown's senior season.

Brown is expected to be joined by several of his Rock teammates and coaches during the Nov. 21 festivities.
Brown scored 2,619 points during his four-year Rock career, which ran from 1987-91. He capped off his career by averaging a school-record 26.7 points per game. His career scoring average of 22.5 points per game is also a school record, as is the 826 points he scored in his senior season. His career-best single-game total of 46 points as a senior vs. California (Pa.) is the second highest in school history,
