The loss snapped a two-game win streak for SRU and dropped the Green and White's season records to 10-5 overall and 1-1 in division action.

Edinboro saw its records improve to 11-3 overall, 2-0 in PSAC-West action.

The Rock was in control of things throughout the first 32 minutes of action and held a 19-point, 73-54, lead with eight minutes remaining to be played before Edinboro outscored the hosts by a 31-9 margin down the stretch.

SRU held an 10-point, 43-33, lead at the intermission after holding a 17-point (39-22) advantage with 3:30 left in the first half.

Camper and Stephens were two of four Rock players who finished the game with double-digit scoring totals. Junior guard Maurice Douglas scored 16 points and sophomore guard Michael Evans Jr. chipped in 14 points. Sophomore forward Maron Brown grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

The Rock finished the game with a very respectable 51.8% (29 of 56) efficiency on its field goal attempts, sank 26.7% (4 of 15) of its shots from beyond the 3-point arc and hit 87% (20 of 23) free throws.

The Green and White enjoyed a 37-30 advantage in rebounds but were on the wrong end of a 20-14 turnover comparison.

Edinboro shot 43.5% (27 of 62) from the field, 55% (11 of 20) from beyond the arc and sank 64.5% (20 of 31) free throws.

SRU returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, when it will visit Gannon for a PSAC-West game. Gannon was ranked sixth in last week's National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II national poll.

The Rock's next home game is next Saturday, when Clarion invades Morrow Field House for a 3 p.m. game.
