SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Senior forward
Denell Stephens (pictured above) recorded his seventh "double-double" of the season Saturday afternoon but it wasn't enough to lead The Rock to victory.
Stephens scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but visiting Millersville handed The Rock a 64-57 setback in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action in Morrow Field House.
The loss was the Green and White's third straight and fourth in its last five outings after a 7-0 start to the season. Saturday's point total was also the lowest recorded this winter by The Rock.
Millersville, with the win, evened it season record at 6-6.

Erroll Robinson added 10 points and nine rebounds to complement Stephens' effort.
The Rock finished the game with a 36.7% (22 of 60) efficiency from the field, shot 25% (6 of 24) from 3-point range and made 77.8% (7 of 9) free throws.
Millersville shot 38.6% (26 of 67) from the field, 33.3% (6 of 18) from beyond the arc and 50% (6 of 12) from the foul line.
The Rock enjoyed a 50-32 advantage in rebounds but also doubled Millersville's turnover total with 22.
SRU trailed by a 35-28 margin at halftime and never led in the final 20 minutes of action and trailed by as many as 13 points (51-38, 14:15) at one point.
The score was tied on four occasions and the lead changed hands nine times in the first half of action.
The Rock will look to regain its winning ways Sunday when it hosts West Chester in a 3 p.m. "crossover" game in Morrow Field House.
