INDIANA, Pa. -- Hosting Indiana U. of Pa. scored 14 of the final 17 points Wednesday night to hand The rock a 61-53 loss in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.
The Rock held a 50-47 lead with 4:45 left to play but did not score again until
Itay Levy nailed a meaningless 3-point shot in the final seconds.
The loss was the 10th in the last 11 games and dropped SRU's overall record to 3-14 and its PSAC-West mark to 1-2.
IUP is now 10-7 overall, 2-0 in division play.

Jamar Scales scored a team-high 14 points for SRU, while senior post player Ken Ottrix added 12 points and five rebounds in a substitute role.

Erroll Robinson had a team-high six rebounds for SRU, while freshman post Corey Somerville had five rebounds and four assists and junior point guard
Darnell Johnson also handed out four assists.
The Rock shot 41% (23 of 56) from the floor, 31% (5 of 16) from 3-point range, 50% (2 of 4) from the foul line and committed 17 turnovers.
IUP had a decided advantage in points from the foul line with a 14 of 21 (67%) showing. The Crimson Hawks made 40% (19 of 48) of their action shots and 45% (9 of 20) of their 3-point attempts and had 12 turnovers.
The Rock held a 27-24 lead at halftime.
SRU is idle for one week before hosting California U. of Pa. in an 8 p.m. PSAC-West game Jan. 30 in Morrow Field House.
The Green and White then host division rival Shippensburg in a 3 p.m. game Feb. 2.
