Emily Li joined the SRU Athletic Communication office as a creative content graduate assistant in the fall of 2026.
Li earned her undergraduate degree in sport management with a minor in communications from Slippery Rock in May of 2026. She returned to her Alma Mater for graduate school following a summer internship working with the Duke University football program in the creative office.
At Duke, Li was involved in numerous photography projects for the Division I Blue Devils, where she worked alongside fellow Slippery Rock alumnus and former SRU athletic communication intern Jacob Ferris.
During her undergraduate career, Li also worked in the SRU athletic communication office and was involved with the Rock Athletics Digital Network and the office's photography efforts. She also interned with The Rock football program and played a key role in operating the team's social media accounts and managing the team's social calendar.
In her graduate assistant role, Li will work with all 19 SRU athletic teams and will focus primarily on photography, video, digital design and other creative content.
