A former standout student-athlete in both Division I and II, Katharina Bilz enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the Slippery Rock University women’s soccer program.
As a graduate assistant, Bilz helps in all facets of the program under head coach Noreen Herlihy and assistant coach Nicole Krueger.
CAREER AT A GLANCE
• In her first season as a collegiate coach, helped to lead Slippery Rock to a 12-4-1 overall record and a PSAC Tournament appearance in 2025
• SRU won the PSAC West regular season title after going 12-1-1 in league play
• Mentored six All-PSAC West honorees a year ago in Sydney Smith, Libby Zacharyasz, Kailyn Schulte, Marissa Salisbury, Sophia Palermo and Leah Allman
• Academically, Slippery Rock posted the highest team GPA of any women’s soccer team (3.758) in the PSAC in 2025

ATHLETIC CAREER
• Played 47 games over four-year career at the University of Akron. Started 40 games for the Zips (2020-23)
• A three-time Academic All-MAC selection and two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree
• Concluded playing career at Indiana University (Pa.) in 2024, starting all 18 games and earning USC All-Atlantic Region accolades for a Crimson Hawks team that went 11-3-4 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament
