Familiar face Alison Hindley returned to Slippery Rock in 2012 to join the women's soccer staff as a graduate assistant.
A native of Cheshire, England, Hindley finished her collegiate career as one of the most decorated players in SRU women’s soccer history. A forward for her first three seasons, Hindley moved back to midfield in 2010 and excelled as the team’s captain, scoring three goals and handing out five assists.
She finished her career with 34 goals and 10 assists for 78 points. Her 34 goals and 78 points both rank fourth on the all-time ledger at SRU. Hindley is a three-time All-Region performer in voting from both the NSCAA and Daktronics. She is also a three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honoree.
"I'm very excited to have Alison back in Slippery Rock and joining our coaching staff this season," said head coach Noreen Herlihy.
