Personal: Daughter of Sara and Jim Heltzell … Majoring in exercise science.
2025 (XC): Competed at five meets as a freshman … Served as one of The Rock’s top finishers on five occasions … Began collegiate running career with back-to-back top-15 finishes at the Doug Watts Open (5K / 19:03.6 / Ninth) and the Allegheny Classic (24:51.1 / 12th) … Personal season-best 6,000-meter course time of 22:45.8 came as part of a 31st-place finish at the LHU Open Crimson Race … In final preparation for the PSAC Championships, completed the 5,000-meter course at the CMU Invitational in 18:22.2 to come in 26th place … Ended year at the conference championships, placing 63rd in 24:29.0.
High School: Lettered four times in track & field and three times in cross country at Seneca Valley High School … A two-time All-WPIAL honoree in cross country … A state qualifier during junior and senior years as a member of Seneca Valley’s 4x800-meter relay team … Graduated having run the third-fastest 1,600-meter time (5:08) and seventh-fastest 800-meter time (2:20) in Seneca Valley history … An honor roll student.
