Former All-PSAC and national championship qualifying javelin thrower Kim Bish joined the SRU coaching staff for the 2014-15 academic year as a volunteer assistant that will work with the javelin throwers.
Bish, formerly Kim Goth, qualified for the NCAA meet in 2011 and was a two-time All-PSAC finisher in the javelin. She posted a career-best mark of 42.34 meters and scored points in the javelin at the PSAC Championship meet in each of her four years at The Rock.
Bish received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Slippery Rock, first earning a bachelor's in therapeutic recreation in 2013 and adding a master's in adapted physical activity in 2014.
