Biography
Fortunato will enter his third year running for the Green and White. As a freshman, Fortunato provided a spark to The Rocks Sprinting crew with a third place finish in the 400m and a second-place 4x400m effort at the PSAC Championship meet. Fortunato won his first PSAC title in 2006 by out leaning the rest of the field in the 4x100m relay event. In 2007 Fortunato battled through an injury filled pre season but came back strong during the outdoor season. In 2008 Fortunato will look to once again be a contender in the 200m and 400m events.
High School: School record holder in 200,400,and 4x100...Lettered four years in track...Lettered two years in soccer...Son of SRU Grad Lyn Fortunato...Also nephew of SRU Grads Sue and Mark Fortunato...Physical Education major.
