Slippery Rock University Athletics

Former Slippery Rock All-American Tom Pool returns to the pitch at SRU this fall as a graduate assistant with the program.

Pool, who served as the team captain two years ago and finished one of the most impressive defensive careers in SRU history, will assist head coach Michael Bonelli and with the daily operations of the program.

Pool was a two-time first team All-PSAC, NSCAA All-Region and Daktronics All-Region selection. He was named to the All-America team by the NSCAA in 2009 and was a two-time member of the Daktronics All-America team.

On top of his stellar defensive skills, Pool added three goals and three assists during his three-year career at SRU.
