Following a standout playing career at SRU, Jack Smith begins his first year in the coaching profession as a graduate assistant for the Slippery Rock men’s soccer team in 2026.
Smith will assist head coach Kevin Wilhelm and top assistant coach Iain Langstone in all facets of the program while working towards his master’s degree.

ATHLETIC CAREER
• Played 62 games over four-year career at The Rock (2022-25).
• Started 17 games during time with Slippery Rock.
• Started 11 games and recorded three assists as a key defender on The Rock’s 2024 team that advanced to the semifinals for the PSAC Tournament for the first time since 2015.
PERSONAL
• A native of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
• Son of Julianne and Ryan Smith.
• Earned bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock as a business administration major.
