Personal: Son of Trish and Sean Rooney … health and physical education major.
2011: Finished 92nd (27:35) at the PSAC Championships ... placed eighth (29:38.2) at the Mercyhurst/Gannon Invitational ... recorded a 34th-place (27:44.80) showing at the Lock Haven Invitational.
High School: Lettered one time in cross country and three times in track and field at Peters Township … qualified for the WPIAL Championships three times as part of the 4x800-meter relay team and once in the 1600-meeter run … also qualified for the WPIAL cross country finals once.
