Aaron Kollar

    Graduate Assistant
Aaron Kollar is a second-year graduate assistant on head coach Kevin Reynolds’ staff for the Slippery Rock men’s basketball team in 2018-19.
 
Kollar currently works with coach Reynolds and assistant Ian Grady in a variety of ways. Some of his responsibilities with The Rock include helping to manage the program's daily operations, including practice and travel, assisting the coaching staff with scouting reports and player development.
 
In his first season as a graduate assistant, he helped coach SRU to a 21-9 record and a berth into the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament.
 
Kollar was a student manager at The Rock during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. SRU posted a winning record during that time and qualified for the PSAC Tournament last season.
 
He also worked as a summer league coach and camp instructor at the Freeland YMCA and his high school, the MMI Preparatory School.
 
The Freeland, Pennsylvania native graduated from SRU in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in anthropology and minors in both sport management and sociology. He is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Technology for Online Instruction.
