High School: Lettered three times in football, twice in track & field and once in basketball at Hampton High School … A two-time first team all-conference safety … Was also Hampton’s starting quarterback who threw for 973 yards and 15 touchdowns all the while rushing for 357 yards and four more touchdowns in addition to defensive duties.
