Coaching staff calls him “the hardest worker on the team” ... A great leader ... Only returning starter at linebacker ... Will open fall workouts as starter in the middle after being starter at “Will” in 2006 ... Potential all-conference and all-region performer this fall ... 2006: Led the team in tackles for the second successive season with 87 (41 solo, 46 assisted) ... Recorded 11 tackles for loss (-16 yards), two pass breakups and one fumble recovery ... Started all 11 games ... 2005: Led the team in total tackles with 59 (27 solo, 32 assisted)... Also led team with three pass breakups … Tied for third on the team in tackles for loss with six (-9 yards) ... Had one interception (21-yard return) ... 2004: Tied for team lead with two interceptions ... Ranked third on the team in tackles with 44 (20 solo, 24 assisted) ... Had four tackles for loss (-9 yards) and two quarterback sacks (-4 yards), one pass broken up and one fumble recovery … 2003: Redshirted … High school: Played in Big 33 Football Classic East-West All-Star Game following senior season … Earned two all-city and two all-conference honors … Team captain as a senior … Lettered one season each in football, baseball and track ...
