Former Slippery Rock University football player Steve “Moose” Saylor returned to the sidelines at The Rock in 2010 in the role of director of football operations.
He is set to return to that role for a 15th straight year in 2025.
Saylor works with the coaching and equipment staffs and assists in the daily operation of the football office, including but not limited to budgeting, travel arrangements, equipment purchases and scheduling.
In addition to his role with the football program, Saylor also serves the University as manager of academic and student affairs resources.
Saylor owns a pair of degrees from Slippery Rock, first graduating with his undergraduate degree in sport management in 2005 and then completing his master's degree in education in 2023.
