Michael Bongivengo returns to the sidelines at The Rock in 2014 as a member of the coaching staff in his first season as a graduate assistant working with the running back and tight ends.
Bongivengo is a 2014 Slippery Rock graduate and was a wide receiver on The Rock's 2013 PSAC Western Division championship squad.
He is the son of Rock passing game coordinator and wide receiver coach Frank Bongivengo, Jr.
Bongivengo caught five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown as a senior in 2013. A high school quarterback that converted to wide receiver at Slippery Rock, he also threw for one touchdown in 2013.
