Billy Fessler will begin his first season on head coach Shawn Lutz’s coaching staff in 2018. A graduate assistant, Fessler will coach Rock running backs.
Fessler recently concluded his playing career as a quarterback at Penn State University. In 2017 Fessler served as Penn State’s primary holder. In addition to his on-field role, Fessler served as the Nittany Lions’ primary offensive signaler for three seasons.
A gifted student, Fessler graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance in May of 2018 with an outstanding 3.43 GPA.
Prior to attending college, Fessler was a standout athlete at Erie Cathedral Prep. He led Cathedral Prep to three district championships as well as the 2012 PIAA Class AAAA State championship.
Fessler will also work towards a graduate degree in business administration in addition to his coaching duties at The Rock.
