High School: Lettered three times in baseball and once in hockey at Plum … Finished his prep career with an impressive 1.61 ERA in 74 innings pitched. He had 94 strikeouts in his high school career … As a senior he threw a complete game no-hitter in a victory over section rival Norwin. Was highly decorated during his high school career as a multiple time all-section selection. Also named one of the top prospects in all of Pennsylvania.
