NFCA Release

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Slippery Rock University softball team was honored by landing 20 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete list, the organization announced this week.
 
The Rock ranked 22^nd in Division II as a team with a 3.69 cumulative GPA. Slippery Rock's 20 student-athletes who were honored by the NFCA qualified for the award by earning at least a 3.5 GPA in the 2025-26 academic year.
 
SRU's 20 honorees are the third most in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference just behind East Stroudsburg University and Indiana University (Pa.) who each had 21. The number also breaks Slippery Rock's previous team record of 19 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes set during the 2023-24 academic year and is the first time in program history that The Rock had 20 or more student athletes make the list.
 
The team's 3.69 cumulative puts The Rock fourth out of 43 in the Atlantic Region, which is comprised of schools in the PSAC, the Mountain East Conference and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
 
The Rock's honorees from this year were Mackenzie Borkovich, Sarah Brown, Sydney Brown, Maddie Cavenaugh, Ali Giordano, Jessica Goldhardt, Paige Gresgott, Olivia Logan, Sydney Lutz, Aubrey Mansfield, Alyssa Massucci, Paige Parker, Jordyn Pelles, Gabby Perod, Shaylyn Shall, Alyssa Sheely, Grace Smith, Brooke Tatar, Addie Warzala and Kayla Williams. 
 
Slippery Rock's 27-20 season came to an end in the PSAC Tournament May 7 when The Rock made its fourth consecutive trip to postseason play for the second time in program history (1981-84). SRU wrapped up the year with an 20-8 mark in conference competition and an impressive 13-3 showing at Kasnevich Field, matching the most home win sin a single season at SRU (2025).
