LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock extended its unbeaten streak to nine games with its 1-0 victory at Lock Haven in PSAC West action Oct. 24 at Hubert Jack Stadium.

Bailey McGee scored her fifth goal of the season as the game-winner off Paterline's fourth assist for the season and Los' second helper of 2026.

PSAC WEST TITLE STILL IN REACH
With its victory over Lock Haven, Slippery Rock retained its three-point advantage in the PSAC West standings over Gannon University. With one game left in the regular season, Slippery Rock also holds a +5 goal differential above Gannon at the moment, in the case that both teams tie atop the division at the end of the season.

The Rock are able to clinch the PSAC West title with a win/draw against IUP Wednesday. If Slippery Rock were to lose for IUP, Gannon would have to win against Clarion, with its win and SRU loss equaling five in Gannon's favor to force a tiebreaker.

Slippery Rock is looking for its sixth regular season title in program history, as well as its second back-to-back regular season titles (2003-04).

UNBEATEN IN NINE STRAIGHT
With the win against the Bald Eagles, The Rock extended its unbeaten streak to nine games, which is tied for the fifth highest in program history, tying its nine-game unbeaten streak from last season.

The longest unbeaten streak in SRU history happened between the 2010-11 season at 16 games.

A LOOK AT THE REST OF THE WEST
Behind Slippery Rock and Gannon, Edinboro and IUP have clinched PSAC Tournament spots with 25 and 24 points, respectively. Lock Haven and Seton Hill University each have 23 points as they battle for the final provisional PSAC Tournament teams from the Western Division in the fifth spot. The Bald Eagles and the Griffins will play each other in the regular season finale. Clarion (16), California (Pa.) (6) and Pitt-Johnstown (2) round out the PSAC West in spots 7-9.

No. 4 Kutztown University, No. 17 West Chester University, Shepherd University, Millersville University and Bloomsburg have clinched spots in the PSAC Tournament from the Eastern Division with seeding for all five teams still to be determined.

ROCK REMAIN FOURTH IN THIRD ATLANTIC REGION NPI RANKINGS
Slippery Rock remained fourth in the Atlantic Region NCAA Power Index Rankings after the third set  rankings were released Monday.

The NCAA Power Index (NPI) is a rankings system used in Division II and Division III to evaluate team performance. NPI considers game results and the strength of opponents to calculate a team's NPI value and ranking.

NPI calculations update throughout the season as teams play additional contests and opponent NPI values change. A team's final NPI is not determined until the final games and rankings of the season are complete.

The NPI takes place of the NCAA's previous regional rankings system and will determine the at-large teams selected to the championship after the automatic qualifiers have been decided.

For more information on the NCAA Power Index click HERE.

The Division II women's soccer playoff field features 56 teams from across the nation, with each region receiving a pre-determined amount of berths based on access ratio.

The Atlantic Region has seven spots in the NCAA Tournament this season as the conference champions from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and the Mountain East Conference will earn automatic berths in addition to five at-large selections determined by the final NPI rankings.

The third set of rankings includes six teams from the PSAC and three from the MEC. Inside the PSAC, there were two schools in the rankings from the PSAC West and four from the PSAC East.

In this week's rankings West Chester jumped Kutztown for the No. 2 spot, while Frostburg State and Gannon switched in No. 4 and 5 spots. The rest of the top nine inside the Atlantic Region Rankings stayed the same.

Starting today Oct. 26, the NCAA Power Index Rankings will be updated daily. To follow along with the daily NPI Rankings, click HERE.
