SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University softball team has announced that it will postpone its home opener versus Edinboro to April 18 and travel to Seton Hill University for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.

The Rock were previously scheduled to travel to Seton Hill April 5 and go to Pitt-Johnstown Sunday. Inclement weather and poor field conditions postponed the UPJ contests with rescheduled dates TBA, while SRU will now take to Seton Hill 1 p.m. Sunday.

Slippery Rock will also travel to Indiana University (Pa.) April 9 before its new home opener against Gannon University 2 p.m. April 10.

Any further schedule changes will be announced on RockAthletics.com and all other Slippery Rock official social media sites as information becomes available.
