GAME ONE – Edinboro 10, Slippery Rock 5
Slippery Rock suffered a 10-5 loss to Edinboro after the Fighting Scots launched four home runs through the seven-inning affair. The Rock succumbed to a 4-0 deficit through the first two innings and were paced by Edinboro the rest of the way.
SRU came within reach after a two-run RBI single from Brown in the third inning that cut the lead to 4-2 and an RBI single down the left line by Sukey to make it 4-3 in the fourth.
Three home runs in as many innings gave Edinboro a 10-3 lead, a large enough cushion to sustain the two runs Slippery Rock tacked on with a home run from Hurd and an RBI single from Freeman in the bottom of the seventh to finalize the game with a 10-5 scoreline.
Hits were even through the contest at 9-9 with Annalise Smith (2-0) earning the victory after throwing three strikeouts in the final 4.0 innings. Hurd (8-9) recored one strikeout in the opening 1.1 innings, suffering the loss. Borkovich (5-3) registered five Ks in the final 5.2 innings.

GAME TWO – Slippery Rock 8, Edinboro 0 (5 inn.)
70 minutes is all it took for Anderson to notch her record-breaking 34
th career win in an 8-0 victory over Edinboro that spanned five innings.
Home runs by Hurd and Freeman in the first inning kickstarted Slippery Rock to a 4-0 advantage. The Rock tacked on an extra run in the bottom of the second to take a 5-0 lead when Brown got from second to home plate on a throwing error by the Edinboro shortstop.
The Fighting Scots looked to have a base hit when Kearson Wagner lobbed a ball into shallow left-center, but were stunned to see Brown soaring from her shortstop position to make the unlikely snag.
Singles to left field by Hurd and Mansfield led off the bottom of the fifth, with Hurd scoring on an RBI single into left-center by Montie. Both Mansfield and Montie were plated on a whack from Freeman into left-center to score the game-clinching eighth run.
