SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University softball team announced that due to inclement weather, Friday's home doubleheader versus Clarion has been rescheduled to April 17. Additionally, Saturday's first pitch against California (Pa.) has been pushed back one hour to 2 p.m.

Slippery Rock was previously scheduled to host Clarion at Kasnevich Field 2 p.m. Friday. Those games are now slated for Wednesday, April 17 at 2 and 4 p.m.

Saturday's original 1 p.m. start time has also been rescheduled to 2 p.m. with game two against Cal beginning at approximately 4 p.m.

The Rock are still on track to host Indiana University (Pa.) in a doubleheader 1 p.m. Sunday as well as Mercyhurst University 2 p.m. April 16. Contests with Edinboro April 18 and Pitt-Johnstown April 20 will round out Slippery Rock's historically-long 14-game homestand.
