SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University softball team announced that due to inclement weather, Friday's road doubleheader versus Clarion has been rescheduled to 2 p.m. Monday, March 25. 
 
SRU will now open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division play 1 p.m. Saturday with a doubleheader at California (Pa.).
 
The Rock's home opener is still slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch with Indiana University (Pa.) Sunday at Kasnevich Field.
 
UPDATED SRU SOFTBALL SCHEDULE:
1 p.m. Saturday – at California (Game One)
3 p.m. Saturday – at California (Game Two)
1 p.m. Sunday – vs. IUP (Game One) – Kasnevich Field
3 p.m. Sunday – vs. IUP (Game Two) – Kasnevich Field
2 p.m. Monday, March 25 – at Clarion (Game One)
4 p.m. Monday, March 25 – at Clarion (Game Two)
2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 – at Mercyhurst (Game One)
4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 – at Mercyhurst (Game Two)
 
Any further schedule changes will be announced on RockAthletics.com and all other Slippery Rock official social media sites as information becomes available.
