INDIANA, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team suffered an 85-39 loss to Indiana University (Pa.) on the road Saturday.

The setback moved The Rock to 2-13 overall and 2-10 inside the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. The Crimson Hawks picked up their second win in as many games, improving to 13-4 on the season and 9-3 in the conference.

Kristina Donza led Slippery Rock with 10 points while Regan Atkins recorded nine points on top of a team-high five rebounds and two blocks.

Slippery Rock was plagued by a bumpy start, as the Crimson Hawks flew off to a 21-3 advantage after the first quarter. The Rock were able to muster an 8-2 run in the second quarter, with all of SRU's points in that span coming from two 3-pointers and two free throws from Donza.

SRU's second-quarter effort was answered by IUP's 71.4 percent shooting (10-of-14), allowing the Crismon Hawks to outscore The Rock, 23-15, to go into halftime with a 44-18 lead.

Seven of Slippery Rock's 12 third quarter points all came from consecutive finishes by Atkins. Despite that offensive surge, Indiana pulled away to take a 68-30 lead into the final frame.

Indiana wrapped up its winning effort on the day by posting a 17-9 advantage in the final 10 minutes to ensure a 46-point margin of victory.

The Crimson Hawks were led by Rahmena Henderson's 19 points. Nyshae' Weaver logged a double-double off the bench for IUP with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
