Slovak and Sakhanova are now 6-1 as a team this season while Martin Lopez and del Val del Toro exit the contest at 12-7.

With the team point already secured, SRU continued to roll at the conclusion of doubles play with a 6-4 win by Adriana Gonzalez Sanchez and Teddi Isherwood against Lina Ziani and Anastasia Gerter.
