SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Every member of the Slippery Rock University men's basketball team scored at least two points Wednesday night as The Rock cruised to 110-64 victory over Penn State Greater Allegheny at Morrow Field House.

The win was Slippery Rock's third consecutive victory, improving its record to 6-2 overall in 2021-22 while Penn State Greater Allegheny fell to 3-9 on the season in the loss.

Wednesday's game was never in doubt as SRU jumped out to a 10-point lead over the opening four minutes on the way to a 34-point halftime advantage and a game-high 49-point edge late in the contest en route to the 46-point win.

Jonathan McFall led five Rock players in double-digits with 16 points to go with five rebounds and one block.
Frankie Hughes was SRU's second leading scorer with 14 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals.

Amante Britt scored nine points, dished out a game-high eight assists and made three steals, which gives him 80 over his career: the 21st highest total in program history.
Bobby Clifford and
Lashon Lindsey added eight and seven points, respectively, with Clifford also picking up four assists and four steals while Lindsey added a pair of steals of his own.

SRU's starting lineup of McFall, Hughes, Britt, Clifford and Lindsey were subbed in and out frequently throughout the game and did not play for the final 12 minutes of regulation.

Off the bench,
Earl Baker Jr. was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field with three 3-pointers on the way to an 11-point, five-rebound, one-steal performance. Fellow reserves
Zaire Rogers and
Nik Cazacu had 10 points apiece with Cazacu also grabbing a team-high seven rebounds.

Tyler Frederick tallied nine points, four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in just 13 minutes. Reserve point guard
Colin McQuiston went for four points, six assists and three steals while fellow reserve guard
Brandon Caruso compiled five points and four rebounds.

Rounding out The Rock's contributors were
Dylan Ahearn with five points and
Eric Taylor with two points.

As a team, Slippery Rock registered season-highs in field goal percentage (.563 / 45-of-80), 3-point shooting percentage (.429 / 9-of-21), assists (28), steals (18) and turnovers forced (28) all the while holding a +7 edge in rebounding (43-36) and totaling 35 points off turnovers, 34 fast break points and 17 second chance points.

Penn State Greater Allegheny closed the night shooting 39.1 percent (25-of-64) from the field overall, 23.8 percent (5-of-21) from 3-point range and 56.3 percent (9-of-16) at the foul line. Christopher Killings accounted for 24 of the Lions' 64 points.

Wednesday's game marked the start of a season-long six-game homestand for Slippery Rock, which will next host Wheeling University 6 p.m. Dec. 14 for what should be a solid Atlantic Region test for SRU at Morrow Field House.
