Favorite SRU Memories
“The time our bus got stuck when it tried to make a turn and we all had to get off the bus and wait for a tow truck,” said Troup. "We ended up having to take the white ‘happy bus’ to a softball game.”
“Going to Mercyhurst to play and upon arrival realizing we forgot the helmet and bat bag. Coach bought us pink helmets at Walmart and we borrowed bats from Mercyhurst. We ended up sweeping them using their bats!”
“Making the regional playoffs, having fun at the games, in the dugout, bus rides and during spring break trips.”
“SRU Forgotten Angels Trips to Louisiana and St. Lucia, Fellowship of Christian Athletes events and Bible study, SRU football games beating IUP, SRU men’s soccer winning the championship game at home, watching volleyball, basketball and baseball games.”
