SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University athletic communication office and The Rock football coaching staff will team up Wednesday, Feb. 6 to provide live updates from the 2019 National Signing Day.
National Letters of Intent are expected to begin rolling in at 9 a.m. Once the letters are verified by the SRU compliance office, this page will be updated with complete bios, a graphic for each player, quotes from the SRU coaching staff and links to highlight videos.
Live announcements will take place on the official Slippery Rock Athletics Twitter account (@
Rock_Athletics). All signees will be announced on Twitter first before this page is updated. Fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #ROCKNAT19N to interact on social media networks throughout signing day.

Once all signees are finalized, a gallery of all the player graphics will be loaded to Facebook and linked to this page. A full announcement of the signing class will be posted to the homepage at
www.RockAthletics.com Wednesday afternoon once all expected letters are returned.
Slippery Rock is expected to announce the signing of multiple mid-year transfer students in addition to a large number of traditional high school seniors as part of the 2019 recruiting class.

He fills a big need we have for an outside receiver. Brandon is a 6-4 kid that can high-point the ball. He's in school this spring and with the team for spring ball and still has four years of eligibility remaining."

Colin played QB at Conneaut because he was the best athlete on the team, but his natural spot is at the outside receiver position. There might be a small learning curve moving to receiver, but we're thrilled about the upside he possesses."
