BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team lost a 3-0 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference decision on the road Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg University.

The Huskies (6-10, 3-5 PSAC) broke a 0-0 tie with The Rock (4-12, 1-7 PSAC) via a Willow Perkins goal in the 18th minute before adding a pair of insurance goals in the second half on the way to their three-goal victory.

Slippery Rock was paced on offense by
Courtney Page, who placed three of her four shots against Bloomsburg on target.
Kayla Ulrich,
Jessie Trube,
Kalie Reed and
Lauren Marks all recorded shots on goal as well in the defeat.

Reed also made a defensive save Saturday, her third of the season.

Hannah Nurse started at goalie for The Rock, making five saves and allowing two goals over three quarters before giving way to backup
Maddie Murphy who stopped two shots and gave up one goal in the fourth quarter.

For the game, Bloomsburg held advantages over The Rock in total shots (20-10), shots on goal (11-7) and penalty corners (8-7).

Slippery Rock will now turn its attention to its final road game of the 2019 season at Seton Hill University 4 p.m. Oct. 29.
